About Dr. Munguia

For Dr. Mayra Munguia, dentistry was never a career she stumbled into — it was something she grew up around and knew from an early age was her calling. She went on to earn her DDS degree from one of the top universities in Mexico, then crossed borders to complete her DMD degree at Western University of Health Sciences in California, bringing together two rigorous academic foundations that shaped the clinician she is today.

Dr. Munguia holds advanced training in implant dentistry, cosmetic dentistry, Invisalign, oral conscious sedation, and she invests more than 400 continuing education hours every year — with a deep focus on implants and cosmetic care — because she believes her patients deserve a dentist who never stops learning.

Dr. Munguia is a genuine desire to serve her community and build real relationships with the people she cares for. She takes the time to listen, explain, and understand each patient’s concerns before recommending any course of treatment, and she holds herself to an exceptionally high standard that she has carried throughout her career.

Outside the Office
